PREVIEW OF IPL TEAMS IN
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Its
again a time for a battle between top domestic teams from various countries.
Champion league t20 will commence on September 17,2013 with 12 teams from top
county teams of India(4 teams),Australia(2 teams),west indies(1),Pakistan(1),south
Africa(2),sri lanka(1)and new Zealand(1).last year CLT T20 champions Sydney sixers
would not qualify in this tournament. That means, we must get a new champion in
this year.so in following days, we are going to analyse each team in this
tournament.
Today, we are
previewing Indian premier league(IPL) teams in this tournament.in CLT t20,out
of 12 teams 4 teams are from IPL.Defending IPL champions Mumbai Indians, runner
up Chennai super kings and Rajasthan royals are already qualify to CLT
tournament.However,sunrisers Hyderabad will thrive other 3 qualifying teams to
enter into main league. Overall one-third of teams are from India, so chances
are high to crown any one IPL team as world champions.here,we are going to analyse
each team shortly.
MUMBAI INDIANS
Mumbai Indians is
coming into the competition with a high five, after their first IPL title win
in 2013.they also won one CLT title in 2011.mumbai Indians will come into the
tournament with a well-balanced batting and bowling unit. The main player for Mumbai
Indians is captain ROHIT SHARMA himself. He
proved as player and captain in IPL, he must also carry that in this tournament.
Batting is solid with a presence of rohit sharma,dinesh karthik,ambati rayudu
and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. Bowling also firmly good with pace bowlers
like lasish malinga and Mitchell Johnson,wheareas spin department lead by Indian
spin duos harbhajan singh and pragyan ohja.then all-rounders like kieron
pollard and glenn Maxwell also add strength in both aspects. With all of this,
this will mark as final tournament for Sachin Tendulkar, who already retired
from IPL format.

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS
The Super Kings are the
most successful team in the IPL having won the title twice in succession (2010 and 2011).They
were the first Indian team to have won the Champions League Twenty20.Besides
all this,csk is led by one of the most successful international captain MS DHONI.Batting should be a major aspect of
csk.it consists of high profile batsmen’s such as Ms dhoni,suresh raina,murali
vijay and Michael hussey.bowling department also looks good with young pace
attack of Jason holder and Chris Morris, while spinner ashwin also provide
strength in it.key player of super kings is its star player RAVINDRA JADEJA,who can shine in both departments.
Inclusion of albie morkel and Dwayne bravo in squad also adds some spice to the
team.overall,Chennai super kings also have fair amount of chance to win title,
when their key player step up.

RAJASTHAN ROYALS
This year is both a
good and bad year for inaugural IPL champions.first,they play some good matches
in IPL,but later on they fell to lot of match fixing issues. But taking
everything aside,IPL 2013 semi-finalist will also shares fair amount of chance
if their key players play well. This would be a last tournament for Rajasthan
royals captain RAHUL DRAVID in all forms of cricket.so what better way to
send off cricket legend with a cup.it is one of side which consists of lot of
domestic players. Batting department is carried by Rahul dravid,ajinke rahane
and brad hodge.james Faulkner and Siddhartha trivedi could do well in bowling.
But all eyes on team’s key player SHANE WATSON.
Everyone knows destruction produce by Watson when he is in touch. Watson is not
at his best now, but his last innings century in ashes can produce some
confidence to him.one major question is whether young wicket keeper batsman
sanju Samson will play in this tournament, who is also in u-19 world cup squad.

played some wonderful matches in this IPL,despite their poor performances in
previous IPLs.they are still in qualifiers, along with three other teams. If
they pull off qualifiers, they should be a tough side to defeat because of its
bowling strength. Due to sunrisers captain Kumar sankakarra choose to play for
his home county kandora maroons,his deputy CAMERON
WHITE may likely get his place. Sunrisers may easily picked as one of
the best bowling side of all teams with a presence of dale steyn,amit Mishra and
ishant Sharma. Batting mainly rely on SHIKHAR DHAWAN,
who have wonderful calendar year in 2013.if the likes of Cameron white and Parthiv
patel can play a cameo, then it could be good. Darren Sammy adds value of
entertainment for a team.
